Dog Thing - domesticated animal for police work with some combat capabilities, but an emphasis on its senses, including smell.
Created for the art director at Technicraft Design. She liked the "couchant" hound while the editor wanted the standing hound for the Fera Vita supplement for the Pax Draconis role playing game. They bought both. The standing beast is the one they planned to use in the game book.
